Welcome Back Newly Graduated Colleen Heemeyer

We are delighted to welcome Colleen Heemeyer back with us full-time after completing her master’s degree in Historic Preservation at Roger Williams University in Bristol, Rhode Island. While working on her degree over the past year, Colleen continued to assist with our Sacred Sites program during breaks.

Colleen was able to attain her degree in one year, instead of the normal two, because she received her undergraduate degree in preservation at Roger Williams.

As Deputy Director of Grants and Preservation Services, Colleen has been responsible for helping to review applications from religious institutions around the state. She has also answered thousands of technical questions from the public and has regularly inspected our easement properties.

We all congratulate Colleen on her achievement.
