Time Out New York has named Sacred Sites Open House the #1 “Thing to do in NYC this weekend.”
Our 15th annual Sacred Sites Open House takes place May 17th-18th, 2025. This year’s theme is “Building for Eternity: Religious Architecture and Artisans,” and participating congregations will showcase their buildings and histories via lectures, musical performances, and special guided tours as well as highlight other cultural and social service programs offered throughout the year.
There are dozens of sites opening their doors throughout the weekend for both guided and self-guided tours. See Art Deco beauties, Tiffany stained glass, and hand-carved marble statuary.
