Our Urban Archive Debut

The Conservancy debuted June 7 on Urban Archive, a technology non-profit focusing on the architecture, culture, and unique stories of New York. Our first contribution, an inventory we completed in 1977 of the City’s public buildings is now featured on their website. Pick a dot on the map showing the location of all the buildings and see a picture and description of a school, library, or armory. Some have been lost, but most still anchor their neighborhoods. We look forward to continuing to share our amazing collection of projects and stories.

You can view the Public Buildings Inventory Index here and then visit Urban Archive to the map.
