2023 Sacred Sites Open House Kickoff

Great thanks to Fr. John Kamas, the pastor at St. Jean’s Baptiste Church, for hosting us. Fr. Kamas and Rabbi Serge Lippe each spoke about this year’s theme.  “Congregations and Community.” Ann Friedman, our Sacred Sites Director, got a big round of applause. We also showed the great diversity of religious institutions served by our Sacred Sites program with some examples from our most recent grant round.

Our theme, “Congregations and Communities: 50 Years of Sacred Sites,” seeks to highlight how congregations create community connections through the services they offer, the social ties they create, and the spaces they provide for people from all walks of life.

Open House Weekend is May 20 and 21.
