Rick Bruner is from Louisville, Kentucky where he majored in Political Science at the University of Louisville. He came to New York City in 1992 where he studied graphic design and other multimedia platforms at the School of Visual Arts and New York University. After moving to Cobble Hill, he fell in love with a Brooklyn girl and they have twin boys and a cat. Rick has worked at Bankers Trust, Sony, and the Fund for the City of New York. Rick loves bicycling to work, taking photos of historic landmarks, and making Tourist in Your Own Town videos.
Favorite Landmark: Green-Wood in Brooklyn. I love walking around the beautiful and peaceful 478 acres of landscaped grounds. There is always something to see or learn–from the history and architecture to the wildlife and greenery–all of those combined make it a New York City gem.
