Isaac Perry was the architect, completed in 1873.  It is of Gothic Revival Style.  Stained glass windows were crafted by Franz Mayer & Co., Munich, Germany. Celtic cast stone cross located on east front lawn of church. The main altar, rail and pulpit are made of Carrara marble (this marble also used by Michaelangelo). Stained glass windows of  both sides of nave depict the life of St. Patrick from his arrival in Ireland to his death.
