
About The Sacred Site
The Church of the Mediator was named one of Seven To Save historic sites in New York State by the Preservation League of New York in 2025. This church is rarely open to the public and is threatened with demolition. The interior is filled with magnificent treasures, and was designed by Henry Vaughan, architect of the National Cathedral in Washington DC.

Activities
Pre-book a guided tour with Stephen F. Byrns – architect, former LPC Commissioner and founder/president of the Untermyer Gardens Conservancy!
These will take place on:
- Saturday, May 17th at 11am
- Sunday, May 18th at 3pm

Additional activities will include a small art installation and display of local painters, illustrators, and miniaturists, and occasional organ performances throughout each day.

Please be aware that there is a ramp to the front door but there may be some accessibility issues from the sidewalk through the driveway to the entrance.
