Join Andrew Thomas of the New York Landmarks Conservancy for a guided tour of the Unitarian Church of Staten Island on Saturday, May 18th at 1pm. This tour offers a detailed view of this small church and the outsized impact it has had on Staten Island, New York, and the United States.
The Unitarian Universalist Church of Staten Island is an eclectic Queen Anne church built in 1895 and designed by young upstart architect Frank H. Quimby. The congregation has been meeting since 1851, and its politically-active members were instrumental in the Abolitionist movement, underground railroad, and reform movements of the 19th and 20th century.

On Saturday, May 18th there will be a Flea Market from 10am to 3pm.

St. Agnes is offering architectural tours of the Church on both Saturday and Sunday. The church features a nearly 200-foot tall steeple, hand carved marble altars and statuary, stained glass windows depicting the life of St. Agnes, the Nativity, and the Resurrection along with other saints and angels.
