Help Save Landmark Building from Demolition
This isn’t a Halloween trick. The fate of West Park Presbyterian Church is once again coming before the Landmarks Preservation Commission (LPC).
Tomorrow, Tuesday, October 31 at 9:30 am is the next, long-awaited public meeting.
Here’s how you can join the meeting.
The Conservancy has submitted testimony opposing the hardship application.
LPC has posted new reports on its website.
At the public meeting, you’ll likely hear about a score of legal issues, the cost of brownstone and stained glass repairs, and whether this historic church could ever turn a profit.
But there’s a simple question at the heart of this debate: Is this landmark worth saving? We say yes, it is.
We hope you will too, and send your comments to the LPC testimony@lpc.nyc.gov
You’ll have until November 14.
