Community Trust Grant Will Continue Support to Non-profits

We are delighted to have received a $150,000, two-year grant from The New York Community Trust to support our Emergency Preservation Grants. The Community Trust has been the major funder of these grants for many years. We are very grateful for their continued support.

Emergency grants allow us to rapidly assist non-profits with building issues. Recent grants have helped Harlem’s United Palace Theater, Staten Island’s Sandy Ground Historical Society, and Brooklyn’s Green-Wood Cemetery.

Through the years, Emergency Preservation Grants have assisted 100 projects throughout the five boroughs dispersing just over $1 million.
