Altman Foundation $75,000 to NTAG

We are pleased to announce that the Altman Foundation has provided an initial two-year, $75,000 grant for our new Nonprofit Technical Assistance Grant program (NTAG). The program provides support to local nonprofits serving lower-income communities. We are grateful for their support of this unique program.

Kingsbridge Heights Community Center in the Bronx

We are excited about our first grant of $20,000, which is going to the Kingsbridge Heights Community Center (KHCC). Located in a former police precinct, the nonprofit is headquartered in an individual City landmark. This neighborhood-based social organization directly serves 6,000 community members in the Kingsbridge section of the Bronx. Modeled after New York settlement homes, KHCC provides services such as weekly meals to families, childcare services, and after-school programming.
