Here is an extended interview with Architect Fred Bland of Beyer Blinder Belle who received the Public Service Award during our virtual Lucy G. Moses Preservation Awards. He serves on the City’s Landmarks Preservation Commission, has chaired numerous cultural organizations, chairs the James Marston Fitch Foundation, and has taught at NYU for more than 30 years. We had to shorten his remarks for the virtual program but want to share more of his interview in this extended cut. Beyer Blinder Belle is known for major preservation projects, but Bland says that’s not the whole picture.
And an extended interview with historian Andrew Dolkart who received the Lucy G. Moses Preservation Leadership Award. Here is a longer version of his thoughts about preservation and his career.
Thank You to Our Lucy G. Moses Awards Supporters!
