Living Landmarks Celebration – November 5

About the Event
The Conservancy celebrated a wonderful group of dedicated New Yorkers at our Living Landmarks Celebration at The Plaza on Wednesday. Living Landmarks help preserve the City we love in their own special ways. It was another “only in New York” evening.
“Our incredible honorees reflect the rich diversity and extraordinary talent of New York,” said Peg Breen, President of The New York Landmarks Conservancy. “Each has made significant contributions that have added to everyone’s enjoyment of the City.”
We were proud to honor the generosity and spirit of these exceptional New Yorkers:
Bonnie Comley & Stewart Lane
Aerin Lauder
Kenneth Lonergan & Mark Ruffalo
Cynthia Wainwright & Steve Berger
Darren Walker
We were delighted to welcome back many former honorees, including our wonderful Master of Ceremonies, Stephen S. Lash.
Preservation has always played a vital role in defining the energy and excitement of New York. While our honorees come from diverse professions, all share a commitment to protecting the City’s extraordinary art, architecture, and history.
