Activities

Visitors are welcome to tour the space from 11am to 3pm.

There will also be displays in the church that interpret its close connection to Dr. Georgia Harkness, a prominent Methodist theologian of the mid-20th century. There will also be slides showing on a large TV depicting pictures of the church from the past. Last year our church received designation as a United Methodist Historic Site, and was awarded a Historical Marker by the Pomeroy Foundation in 2018.

There will also be a presentation of their annual Spring fundraiser event, “Michigans For Mission” in the Church Hall adjacent to the church from 11am to 2pm.

Guests may purchase a meal of a Michigan Hot Dog, Chips, Beverage and a Cookie for just $5.00. All income will be used to support our Missions program. There will also be a Bake Sale. Unfortunately, our Rest Rooms are temporarily out of order but there is a Porta-Potty located behind the Church Hall.
